Alexandra Gray is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia who began practicing in 2022. Her main focus areas are Anxiety, Autism Spectrum and ADHD, and the LGBTQIA community. Alexandra has the Autism-Informed Professional certification, she is an Alternative Lifestyle-affirming member of the LGBTQIA community, and she arrived at her focus areas through a combination of formal training and lived experience. A significant portion of her work deals with navigating complexities and liminal spaces around neurodivergence and alternative lifestyles (the “Standard Issue Model Society vs. Specialty Model Human” conundrum); the road from religious trauma to found family; OCD; and the yearning to chase unavailable loved ones and caregivers. Alexandra prioritizes taking continuing education classes to better serve her clients. Her approach draws from CBT, Interpersonal, Attachment-Based, ERP, Solution-Focused, play, and creative therapies. Alexandra is a graduate of Hampshire College and Mercer University. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing, gaming (PC, PS5, and board), kayaking, and spending time with loved ones.
