Britland Stefani is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia and South Carolina, and Nationally Certified Counselor, providing psychotherapy and counseling services to adolescents and adults both in-person and via telehealth (online therapy). Britland earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University and has extensive knowledge, training, and certifications in a variety of evidence-based approaches to treatment.
Britland takes a holistic and individualized approach to provide personalized therapy that meets the unique needs of each individual she serves. Her therapeutic style is grounded in a genuine and collaborative relationship where authenticity is at the forefront. She strives to create a safe space of warmth, acceptance, and one that is free of judgment, bias, and shame. Britland works with individuals seeking therapy for a variety of reasons, some of which include: young adult challenges (transition to college, adulthood, healthy relationships and boundaries), treatment of mental disorders (anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adults diagnosed with ADHD, trauma and PTSD, and symptoms of undiagnosed disorders), individuals experiencing significant grief and loss, difficulties with adjustment-related challenges or other types of traumas (cult/religious trauma), and those looking for support achieving wellness-related goals.
Britland earned a Masters of Education Degree with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University in 2017. This degree program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) which ensures the quality of education and training to professionally approved standards of excellence. While earning a Masters Degree, she was inducted into the Gamma Rho Omega Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International and have remained a professional member post-graduation. She is also an associate member of the American Counseling Association and Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.
