About Corinne Simmons, LPC

Corinne Simmons is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Science at Tougaloo College and a Master of Public Policy and Administration at Mississippi State University, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Educational Leadership at Columbus State University. Corinne is very compassionate and nonjudgmental. She often uses humor to build rapport and to help illustrate ideas. Corinne strongly believes that the 50- or 60-minute therapy session should impact the client beyond that time. So, she often gives homework assignments to help the client stay focused on their concern. Corinne usually employs Cognitive Behavior and Client Centers approach in therapy. She likes to focus on the solution, not the problem. Corinne is looking forward to walking with you on your path to better mental health. In her free time, Corinne enjoys growing plants, going to water aerobics, spending time with her family, hanging out with friends, and watching movies.
