Samantha McGirt is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2017. She has a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Webster University. Samantha’s therapeutic approach is integrative, utilizing EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mind Body Therapeutic Approaches, Client Focused, and others to provide her clients with effective coping skills to manage mental disorders. Samantha specializes in providing therapy to victims of trauma, first responders, educators, women dealing with hormonal based mood disorders, perinatal care, parents, and so much more. Samantha’s goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment where you can explore your concerns, develop goals, discover strengths, and develop coping strategies. The therapeutic relationship can be a vehicle for change; therefore, Samantha is dedicated to providing the best clinical services to meet your needs. Outside of work, Samantha’s hobbies and passions include cooking, spending time in nature, hosting friends and family, reading, being adventurous, expanding her knowledge on spirituality and her ancestral history, watching sports, and trying new restaurants.
