Jennifer Davenport is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in January 2019. Jennifer is a graduate from Kennesaw State University with a Masters in Science of Nursing- Nurse Practitioner (focused from Pediatrics to Geriatrics), Bachelors in Science of Nursing degree from University of West Georgia and an Associates in Science of Nursing from Georgia Highlands College. Jennifer is also a board certified Emergency Registered Nurse and a State of Georgia Paramedic- Prehospital Emergency Medicine.
Affiliations: Current member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association, and Clinical Instructor at two Atlanta Metro area Schools of Nursing.

Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude and received Honor Role at every College that she attended. Jennifer has been recoginzied for her honor and service from the following associations: Odyssey Peer Mentoring Program (Kennesaw State University), President of Highlands Association of Nursing Students (2011-2012), Georgia Highlands Class President, Georgia Association of Nursing Students, Phi Theta Kappa, and Who's Who among students in American Junior Colleges (Georgia Highlands College).
Jennifer enjoys providing patient education and helping guide patients toward their best health; both mental and physical health. She has a strong desire to help those with depression, mood disorders, anxiety and substance abuse. Jennifer has a high interest in preventative health and health maintenance.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and pets, she loves to read, take vacations, likes being outdoors and outdoor sports. Her goals are to continue to learn foreign languages in order to increase the patient population seen and to begin participating in Mission Trips, specifically Medical Missions.
