Education and Specialty
Matthew Lyle Cason joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in January 2017 and is currently seeing patients at our Atlanta location. Lyle is from Vienna, Georgia and moved back to Atlanta from Tampa, Florida. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia. Afterward, he completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Tampa, Florida where he graduated with highest honors.
Lyle is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Where he is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
Adolescent and Adult Medical Services
Lyle works with both adult and adolescent patients in managing conditions including mood disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, sleep disorders, and eating disorders. Lyle has a strong interest in preventive health and wellness as well.
Lyle lives in Atlanta with his rescue dog, Buster. He enjoys volunteering at local events, medical missions, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
