Education and Specialty
Felicia is an Advanced Practiced Registered Nurse who is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Columbus State University in 2008. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Troy University in 2017. Felicia will be pursuing a Post-Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health in the near future.
Felicia is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, in which she holds an active membership. She is also a member of United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia. Felicia has over ten years of experience in Emergency Medicine and Acute Care.
Awards, Services, Honors
Felicia was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2015. While obtaining her Master's degree, Felicia was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Global Competitiveness and studied the healthcare system abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica at UNIBE University.
Felicia joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in 2018. She works closely with her collaborating physician to provide compassionate and comprehensive care. She provides medication management and supportive care to patients that are eighteen years of age and older who are struggling with:
- ADD/ ADHD
- Bipolar Disorder
- Mood Disorders
In her spare time, Felicia enjoys traveling, dancing, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is married and has two daughters. Felicia is an active member of a sorority and she is very passionate about serving throughout the community.
