Education and Specialty
Angela Hamm is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, with a specialty in Family Nurse Practice. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Georgia State University in 2012. Angela furthered her education and earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2017. She has 5+ years of registered nursing experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting caring for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. As a nurse practitioner, she has experience treating patients of all ages in the outpatient setting treating patients of all ages with a wide range of illnesses, including mental health diagnoses.
Angela is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, and NU Chapter at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Awards, Service, Honors
Angela was given the distinguished honor of graduating Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University in 2012. While practicing as a registered nurse, she was one of the few chosen to attend the Pediatric Nurse Residency Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Angela was also given the opportunity to travel to Australia with the International Scholar Laureate Program to study the Australian healthcare system in 2011.
Angela enjoys working and providing individualized care for patients of all ages struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, depression, ADD/ADHD and many more.
Angela enjoys spending time with her family, lifting weights, traveling, cooking and playing with her 7-year old Chihuahua, Lucky.
