Jennifer Scholz Smith is a licensed psychologist who joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in October 2018. Dr. Scholz Smith earned her Master's of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University in Maryland and earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology degree from Georgia School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Scholz Smith is a member of Georgia Psychological Association and Georgia Autism Assessment Collaborative
Dr. Scholz Smith is a licensed psychologist who specializes in both therapy and assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. She uses a collaboration and goal-oriented approach to therapy. With younger children (6 and under), Dr. Scholz Smith uses a client-centered play based approach. With older children, adolescents, and adults she uses cognitive behavioral orientation. The types of assessments that Dr. Scholz Smith conduct includes: ADHD evaluations, autism diagnostic evaluations, learning disorder and social-emotional evaluations.
Dr. Scholz Smith enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and being outdoors.
