Education and Specialty

Dr. Panchajanya Paul is a triple board-certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Paul joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals group in May 2018. He works in the Snellville location. He is a dipolmate of the American Board Integrative and Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Dr. Paul completed general psychiatry training at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio 2011. Dr. Paul completed his Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training at Emory University in 2013.

Professional Development

Dr. Paul received training in holistic medicine from the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in San Diego in 2014. He was also trained by Daniel Amen in the use of SPECT scan, QEEG, and supplements at Amen Clinics in 2017. Dr. Paul is passionate about teaching and writing. He holds faculty positions at Emory University School of Medicine; University of Georgia & Georgia Regents University; and University of Central Florida School of Medicine. He is a free-lance writer and runs health columns for three local news magazines in Atlanta. Prior to joining GBHP, he worked at Amen Clinics and also served as a medical director at the largest stabilization unit in central Florida.

Dr. Paul was made a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) in 2016.

Dr. Paul provides a holistic approach to ensure the best possible psychiatric care. He incorporates medications, supplements, therapy, genomics, sleep, diet, exercise and mindfulness in his treatment plan. He enjoys working with all age groups-individually, as well as couples and families. His treatment specialty is in the use of complementary and alternative medicine such as herbs and supplements in treating anxiety, depression and ADHD.
