Ted Liberty, PhD, J.D, L.P.C., W.C.C.P. Licensed Professional Counselor Certified Psychotherapist Area of Expertise Dr. Liberty has provided psychotherapy services for over 25 years. PhD Clinical Psychology Doctor of Jurisprudence, Licensed Professional Counselor and World Council Certified Psychotherapist. He specializes in working with children (age 5 and up) and adults in individual and families in outpatient clinical settings. He provides evaluation and treatment for a broad range of disorders: anxiety; depression; mood swings; ADHD in adults and children; Autistic Spectrum, PDD, behavioral problems; stress issues in job, family and marital issues; communication; grief and loss; anger management.

Professional Development

Dr. Liberty is also a Georgia Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Collaborative Law practitioner. Dr. Liberty is a member of The American Psychological Association, American Bar Association, International Council of Psychologists, World Council for Psychotherapy, American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, and Neuroscience Education Institution-Master Psychopharmacology Program.

Dr. Liberty works closely with the other Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals to provide the best care for individuals that need require therapy services. His theoretical approach blends various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, to address each patient’s needs. By focusing on the importance of the therapeutic relationship, he provides a supportive, interactive environment in which growth and change can occur. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. His conflict resolution experience covers a wide range of subject's area including family and divorce, business/ commercial, employment relations and community matters.
