About Alvita Lott, LAPC

Alvita Lott is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2018. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alvita can help clients by meeting them where they are. People shy away from seeking mental health help due to feelings of judgement and feeling that they are alone. Alvita is relatable and able to offer hope for healing. She is personable and truly makes it a point to connect with patients and ensure they feel they have someone in their corner and on their side. Alvita specializes in working with individuals and families to heal through her approach of meeting them where they are, actively listening to their needs and not only helping them set great goals but acting as a support along the way to help them achieve set goals. Her work extends from school-based settings, inpatient, outpatient, and private practice. Her modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, and she operates from a person-centered and solutions-oriented approach. Through psychoeducation and goal setting, her aim is to empower her clients and give them a sense of hope that there is happiness in healing and healing doesn’t have to be a lonely journey. She is there every step of the way. Outside of work, Alvita enjoys spending time with family and loved ones, reading, writing, travelling, painting, spending time outside in nature, and listening to music.
