About Amy Syen, LCSW

Amy Syen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia who has been working in the social services field for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and her Master of Social Work with a Concentration in Mental Health degrees from the University of Kentucky. Amy works to establish a strong therapeutic rapport with clients in order to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to feel comfortable working on your personalized recovery process. This therapeutic relationship is collaborative. You and Amy will work together to achieve the goals you set for yourself. Your treatment is individualized and based on your own unique needs. She uses a number of different therapeutic modalities and interventions including (but not limited to) cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). In her spare time, Amy enjoys traveling with her family and friends, hiking and other outdoor activities, and reading.
