Angela Hamm is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practice. She has 10+ years of nursing experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings. As a nurse practitioner, she has experience treating patients across the life span with a wide range of illnesses.
Angela enjoys providing individualized care for patients of all ages struggling with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD and other mental health conditions. She believes shared decision-making is imperative, as it gives her patients an opportunity to have informed, meaningful and collaborative discussion with her regarding their care.
In her free time, Angela enjoys working out, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Georgia State University in 2012. Angela furthered her education and earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2017.
Angela was given the distinguished honor of graduating Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University in 2012. While practicing as a registered nurse, she was one of the few chosen to attend the Pediatric Nurse Residency Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Angela was also given the opportunity to travel to Australia with the International Scholar Laureate Program to study the Australian healthcare system in 2011. Angela is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, and NU Chapter at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
