About April Barnes, LPF, LMFT

April Barnes is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated with a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She also received a B.S. in Health Science and Counseling from Shorter University. She is a Registered Play Therapist.  She works with both male and female clients. Her areas of interest include but are not limited to parenting, family issues, anger, anxiety, grief and loss, depression, post-traumatic stress, and spiritual issues.  She provides services for families, children and adolescents (5 and up), and individual adults.
