Making the decision to enter counseling can be incredibly difficult for some, and Britland recognizes the courage it takes to seek out help. As individuals, we are all unique in our perceptions of the world, our life experiences, and the problems or issues we may encounter. Britland earned a Masters of Education Degree with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University in 2017. This degree program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) which ensures the quality of education and training to professionally approved standards of excellence. While earning a Masters Degree, she was inducted into the Gamma Rho Omega Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International and have remained a professional member post-graduation. She is also an associate member of the American Counseling Association and Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.
