Provider type: Therapist
Serving: Adolescents and Adults
Carol wants to empower and encourage her clients to be the author of their own life's book by helping them take stock of where they are, identify where they want to be, and identify a path to get there. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, stress management, assertiveness training, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment, and work/life balance.
Carol enjoys being outdoors and participating in various activities that challenge her, both, mentally and physically. Whether it's participating in a recreational sport like kick ball or riding her bicycle, Carol relies on these activities to maintain peace and balance in her own life. Carol sees these activities as her source of therapy, because she understands the importance of establishing healthy habits of self-care and skill building to manage life's unpredictability.
