It is very important to me to build a collaborative therapeutic alliance with clients where we partner in developing a plan to meet goals together. The most validating feedback that I have gotten from a client was that they felt heard when working with me. It is very rewarding to see people get better after a short time working together. To me, psychiatry is all about a human connection.
I love anything involving being out in the great outdoors. I love bike riding, nature walks, hiking, kayaking, you name it. I love roller coasters and traveling to different amusement parks. I love to travel in general and I can not wait to plan the next trip. I love to cook dinner with my partner and I am always looking for the next recipe to try.
