Ellie employs a goal-oriented and integrative approach to her counseling. She strives to assist her clients in gaining self-awareness and confidence. As a counselor, she believes that a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and unconditional positive regard is imperative to progression and change. She believes that each person is unique and that therapy should match their individuality. Ellie employs concepts and tools from CBT, person-centered therapy, and Adlerian therapy in order to assist her clients towards the change they desire.
Ellie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and is currently working towards completing a Master of Science in clinical counseling psychology with a specialization in family and play therapy from Brenau University.
