Denise Hill, LCSW Denise Hill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia who has been practicing since 2009. She has a BS in Sociology from Georgia Southern University and an MSW (Master of Social Work) from the University of Georgia - Go Dawgs! Denise’s goal is to provide culturally responsive and culturally supportive services; during this approach, she frequently finds that her client is the best “guide” since broad generalizations of racial, ethnic, gender identification, sexual orientation, and other groups are oftentimes not accurate. Denise recognizes that her white, female experiences in this world mirror everyone’s experiences. She acknowledges that there are many differences in our society when it comes to identify, power and privilege. What’s most important to Denise is hearing about and learning about your experiences, and for her to find out there are barriers currently in place for you that relate to these or other components, and how can you and her partner together to overcome, directly or indirectly impact, or work around those barriers so that you can have your best life! In her spare time, Denise enjoys cooking, needlework, spending time outdoors, and travel.
