Jacquelyn's greatest accomplishments include working in the field of behavioral/psychiatric health since 2011. She thoroughly enjoys contributing to the well-being of people who are seeking compassionate care and have devoted the greater part of my life in the service of humanity. Jacquelyn takes a holistic approach when working with patients, through the use of the biopsychosocial model, education, and encouragement. Her specialties are working with individuals who seek evidence-based mental health care via counseling and/or medication management with ADHD/ADD, Anxiety disorders, Insomnia, Mood disorders, Personality disorders, Substance use disorders, Schizophrenia. Jacquelyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, journaling, bible study, road trips, exercising, and cooking. Jacquelyn has received multiple military service awards and leadership certificates during 14 years of enlisted/officer active duty time in America and while stationed in Germany from 1990-2006. Nursing Excellence award in 2009 for outpatient care service. Volunteered in 2010 through the Red Cross, approx. 50 hours teaching soldiers and Ft. Gordon TBI staff members how to perform Tai Chi. Honorable mentions from Col Meyer - Air Force Commander in 2011 for exceptional customer service while working with other social workers as a Home Visitor and teaching classes to at risk families. Taught Tai Chi to 2 seniors centers, and 2 other community centers in the CSRA.
