About Jay Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is very passionate about the type of work he does and always enjoys meeting and helping new people. Dr. Patel has had wonderful professional relationships with all his previous patients and feels that they have accomplished a lot together, which he finds very rewarding. Dr. Patel has trained extensively in psychiatry, and works strongly to incorporate biological and psychological components in his methods of practice, in turn, finding it very effective in helping his patients.
Dr. Patel enjoys getting to meet new people and learning about their life stories. He also enjoys time spent with family and various outdoor activities like hiking, biking, playing tennis and others.

Education & Certifications

Graduated in 2009 from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with major in Community Health, with additional specialization in healthcare administration and healthcare services.

Graduated in 2015 from Ross University School of Medicine with my MD

Completed Residency in Psychiatry from Western Michigan University Homer-Stryker School of Medicine in 2020.
