Ms. Boone offers an eclectic approach which includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and insight oriented therapies. However, she considers the relationship with her clients to be the most valuable aspect of treatment, and strives to tailor interventions to meet the needs and preferences of each individual client. Ms. Boone's areas of interest include: anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, ADHD, stress, family of origin issues, work/life balance issues, caregiver stress/burn-out, grief/bereavement, and phase of life issues.
Jennifer Boone has been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker within the state of Georgia since 2004. Ms. Boone is providing therapeutic services at our Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals Athens office. She has worked in a wide variety of settings since graduating from UGA with a Master in Social Work degree in 2000.
She has experience working in public schools, home health agencies, hospice care, community mental health facilities, a psychiatric hospital, and higher education. Through these experiences, she gained skills in helping individuals and families navigate a vast array of stressors and concerns.
