Provider type: Therapist
I am a trauma-informed, collaborative and compassionate therapist who has extensive experience working with family issues, adults, and teens ages 14+. I am committed to assisting families and individuals with breaking cycles of generational dysfunctions and learning healthy coping strategies that can help them manage their present struggles.
I have led groups for domestic violence, parenting and women’s groups. I am active in community collaboration, including speaking at community events and organizations.
As part of treatment, not only do I pay attention to habits, behaviors and emotions but also to my client's nutritional and spiritual health. I believe that therapy is a joint effort where client's are given the opportunity to tap into their deeper inner wisdom.
I obtained a Master's of Science in Marriage and Family from Mercy College. I also have a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice from Monroe college.
