About Joseph Pfeffer, LCSW

Joseph is very passionate about his work and views the therapeutic process as collaboration between equals. Joseph believes that therapy is your time and he is just a guide to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. Joseph strongly believes in the value of discovering and using our sources of enjoyment and other personal strengths to improve our ability to deal with life's various challenges. Joseph has worked with people from all walks of life and has extensive experience working with teens and young adults on variety of challenges including gender issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and loss.
Joseph enjoys nature in all of its forms and spends much of his free time engaging in a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping. He also enjoys reading history, sports, playing video games, and creative hobbies such as woodcarving and painting.
