Judi desires to counsel came from years of being an adoption paralegal and gaining a compassion for a misunderstood, and often misjudged population. She continued to work with a similar population and completed clinical in a jail moving towards counseling in the homes of urban communities. It was here that she worked with children, teenagers and broken families. Additionally, she facilitated classes teaching families parenting skills and appropriate discipline. Working in these settings showed me that building rapport is not only valuable but easy when you take a genuine concern for your clients.
