Kristi is a licensed professional counselor who has been working with children, adolescents and adults throughout the Atlanta area for the past 20 years. Kristi is skilled in working with adolescents and adults in a variety of areas including: social skills/life skills training, family issues, coping skills development, strategic learning strategies development, bullying and adjustment to divorce and other life changes. She also works with airline families. She spent 15 years as a flight attendant and the rest her family has either been with Delta or is still active employees.
She offers individual/family/group counseling and a coaching approach for children/adolescents and adults.
Kristi received a B.S. in Education (Special Education/elementary education) from Northern Illinois University along with a M.S. in Human Service Counseling.
Kristi is a Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS) which was awarded through the Association for Traumatic Specialists. Kristi is a member of the American Counseling Association and serves on the Community Board for The Lighthouse School in Peachtree City. She is also a member of the Lamer Counseling Association for Traumatic Specialists. Additionally, Kristi has served as a consultant for school systems, juvenile courts, businesses and community organizations throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. Kristi is currently being trained to become a certified EMDR therapist.
