Mackenzie Natta is a Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Mackenzie is experienced in working with children and adolescents with behavioral health concerns. Before joining Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals, Mackenzie worked in a community healthcare setting where she managed patients with mental health symptoms within the context of primary care. Mackenzie works closely with her supervising physician Dr. Piyush Patel, where she focuses on promoting mental wellness and values a holistic approach to mental health care.
She practices at Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in the Marietta and Johns Creek locations. Mackenzie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Emory University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
Upon completing her Master's degree, Mackenzie received advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of adolescents and young adults with complex medical and psychosocial needs through the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
