Meketa has been in the Social Services Field for over 20 years. She has worked in the Child Protective Services, Child and Adolescents units, in the Correctional setting (Adult Male Inmates), and Couples and Family Counseling. It has been Meketa's experience that she establishes positive rapport fairly easily and generally find ways to connect and reach even the most resistant of clients. Meketa is married and the mother of three. She enjoys reading and watching movies in her spare time. She loves adventure and her favorite hobby is word puzzles. Meketa has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. for almost 22 years.
For Meketa's undergraduate training, she attended Albany State University in Albany, GA from September of 1995 to May of 1999. From Albany State, she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. She attended Argosy University (Georgia School of Psychology) from January 2000 to October 2002 receiving a Masters of Arts in Psychology, Counseling Specialty. Meketa obtained her Associate Professional License in 2007 and her full licensure in April of 2009
