Provider type: Therapist
Serving: Adolescent, Adolescents and Adults, Adult
Meredith is passionate about helping people break free from the patterns that keep us stuck; she views relationships, with both our social networks and ourselves, as central to healing and growth. Much of her work with clients involves skill-building around clear communication, clarifying needs, and boundary setting. Other tools practiced focus on expanding self awareness and building shame resilience. She considers the mind-body connection key and often incorporates breathing, mindfulness, and movement into therapy. Areas of focus for Meredith include anxiety, depression, women’s issues, trauma, relationships and attachment, LGBTQ+ issues, and self-acceptance.
Meredith Ellis received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Mercer University in 2010 and her Master of Education degree in school counseling from the University of West Georgia in 2016. She completed post-master's coursework toward clinical counseling licensure at John Carroll University in 2021.
