Tami’s approach to therapy is Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral. She believes in the therapeutic process of meeting a client where they are and assisting the client with setting goals and identifying his or her own process of change. She assists in the client identifying and changing negative thought patterns. As a Registered Play Therapist, she also believes in the importance of play in children and adults. Sandtray therapy teaches children and adults about inner thoughts and ideas and helps the client work through difficult issues without talking about them directly at first.
